Bourdon-Haenni S.A.S. has just obtained EN 9100 certification by AFAQ AFNOR Certification.

 
Companies that obtain this certification guarantee that their quality systems are in conformity with the EN/AS/JISQ 9100:2003/S1 requirements in their specific application to the aeronautical and space industries. At the same time as obtaining EN 9100 certification, Bourdon Haenni S.A.S. also renewed its ISO 9001:2000 certification.

This certification concerns the quality system of Bourdon-Haenni S.A.S. for the following activities: “Design, manufacturing, sales and services relating to pressure gauges, thermometers, pressure switches, temperature switches; pressure, temperature, force and acceleration transmitters and sensors“.

The certificate of approval (No. AERO/2006/26661) was issued by AFAQ AFNOR Certification on 9 May 2006.

The EN 9100 certification is based on the ISO 9001:2000 standard, stipulating all of the same requirements with the addition of specific supplements to the aeronautical industry.

The aeronautical and space industry is one of the most demanding in terms of compliance with quality standards. The main principals require their suppliers to be certified in accordance with standard EN/AS/JISQ 9100 established by the I.A.Q.G. (International Aerospace Quality Group).

This certification enables Bourdon-Haenni to uphold the development of its aeronautical activity in France and abroad and to support its partners who adhere to this quality certification initiative.
