New Head of Sales at Baumer Optronic in Radeberg
Since 1 April 2008 Jens Wober has been managing the sales team at Baumer Optronic GmbH.
Jens Wober has much experience in image processing and has been working for Baumer Optronic in Radeberg for 10 years. During that time he has successfully managed the Supply Chain Department, and since January 2006 he has been a member of the board.
In his new responsibility as head of sales he is in charge of sales of high-quality Baumer digital cameras and camera modules as well as image acquisition systems for OEMs and system integrators.
Baumer Group celebrates opening of local subsidiary in Pune
Pune, 21 November 2008: The Swiss Baumer Group celebrates the formal opening of its wholly owned Indian subsidiary Baumer India Private Limited in Pune. This office facilitates Baumer's direct sales operations in India and improves customer service.

At the beginning of 2007 the Baumer Group was proud to announce the opening of their new subsidiary in Pune, India. Initially this subsidiary was designed to offer support for the product segments Sensor Solutions and Gluing Systems. However, since November 2007 this already broad spectrum of products was further increased with the launch of Motion Control. This new, extensive portfolio allows Baumer India to offer a whole range of measurement solutions from incremental encoders, absolute encoders, field-bus covers, HeavyDuty encoders to actuators and positioning drives as well as tachos and resolvers.
